Birch Aquarium

I taught, revised, and designed educational programs through the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institute of Oceanography. As an instructor, I trained extensively in Next Generation Science Standards.
Among the programs I contributed to are the Summer Learning Adventures camps, new live zoom lessons, and outreach programs.
Interpretive Design
During my time as an instructor, the exhibits department prepared to open a new interpretive exhibit on Marine Protected Areas. This exhibit features a tide pool touch experience.

Collaborating with husbandry, marketing, and exhibits, I had the opportunity to design educational resources to guide the interpretation of MPAs and Tide Pool ecosystems.
